I wonder if the real problem isn't that the public doesn't want answers: we want soundbytes. Our expectation from these appearances (these are not debates or forums) forbid anyone go outside the template with an insightful answer that would challenge thought, debate and better answers due to hypersensitivity.
Jet lag is just an excuse to cover that complicated issues cannot be intelligently handled because vested special interests refuse to listen with an open mind.
