Interesting juxtaposition. Vivid contrast in how same material. Proves that the presentation is as important as the words. The Black Eyed Peas version is simply crass, while there is a certain poignant sadness to the Alanis Morissette piece. Perhaps as there is a tipping point in environmental matters, perhaps there is a tipping point in arts and culture: and we are at the fulcrum.
